Verifying Authority for Reference Standards of Measurement
APL is an appointed Verifying Authority for Reference Standards of Measurement In accordance with Regulation 13 of National Measurement Regulations 1999 (Cth), in force under the National Measurement Act 1960 (Cth). This appointment is granted by the Australian Government National Measurement Institute.
Verifying authorities can provide legal traceability to reference standards of measurement. "Regulation 13" certificates, issued by verifying authorities, are required in some industries, such as when the measurements are used for trade or legal purposes.
There are some unique requirements for these reports, so if you require a certificate issued under regulation 13, please let us know prior to calibration.
