Our oil-free testing procedure is available here and is designed to prevent oil-free gauges from being contaminated during their time in our laboratory. Our procedure does not include cleaning of gauges or checking their cleanliness, and is only designed to maintain cleanliness of already clean gauges.

Due to the potential explosion hazard with oil contamination in gauges, especially in oxygen service, we recommend that customers exercise caution when handling oil-free gauges to ensure they are not contaminated in use or transport. If unsure, gauges should be replaced or professionally cleaned. Australian Pressure Laboratory does not offer a cleaning service for oil-free instruments or oxygen service.
