Dear Customers,

APL would like to assure you that we are very mindful of the current situation with spread of coronavirus and the associated COVID-19 disease in Australia and around the world.  We are working very hard to minimise the risk of introduction or transmition of coronavirus through APL, and have implemented a strict cleaning procedure for staff, frequent contact surfaces, and customer's instruments within our facility. 

If you require instrument calibration for a medical or supporting function, please let us know and we will prioritise your instruments to ensure they are returned to service urgently.

To maximise social distancing within the laboratory, we have implemented two shorter working shifts within the laboratory per day, with no more than three staff attending each shift.

During this time we would ask that all non-essential visits to our facility be avoided or delayed.  If you need to attend our facility, please contact us prior, and let us know if you:
- have had a recent respiratory illness or are unwell in any way
- have arrived from any international destination within the past 14 days
- have been in direct contact with anyone known to have COVID-19 disease or that has arrived from an international destination within the past 14 days

We will continue to accept instrument deliveries via courier during normal business hours, but our staff have been instructed not to physically sign for receipt of parcels from couriers until further notice - instead they will provide their name to the courier only.  Our drop box is also available for customers to deliver parcels without entering our facility - let us know if you would like to access the drop-box.
All of these measures will reduce our capacity until the threat from the virus has subsided, and we greatly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.
